Longleaf, LA – On March 11th, the Forest Resources Association’s Southcentral Region honored Alabama Forestry Association’s Ashley Smith with its Second Place Technical Writing Award for 2020. This Annual Award recognizes the best Technical Releases published and posted on FRA’s website.
Smith authored Technical Release 19-R-09, “Alabama’s Forest Products and Sustainability Tour”. This Technical Release highlights a collaboration between the Alabama Forestry Foundation and the Alabama Sustainable Forestry Initiative State Implementation Committee to annually offer a Forest Products and Sustainability Tour for second-year students at Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design, and Construction.
