Longleaf, LA – On March 11th, the Forest Resources Association’s Southcentral Region honored International Paper’s Charlie Edwards with its First Place Technical Writing Award for 2020. This Annual Award recognizes the best Technical Releases published and posted on FRA’s website.
Edwards authored Technical Release 18-R-37, “Tract Pre-Logging Safety Considerations”. This Technical Release highlights procedures to identify safety hazards associated with harvest blocks, with particular emphasis on the hazards of gas lines and well heads, a common occurrence in Louisiana.
