See you in Amelia Island

We're less than three weeks away from FRA’s Annual Meeting in Amelia Island, FL and this year’s agenda and networking opportunities promise something for everyone. With great topics and discussions throughout the meeting and over 150 industry leaders and guests in attendance, this is an excellent opportunity to advance company and industry priorities.

We will kick off at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20 with a Welcome Lunch, followed by the Executive Committee Meeting at 12:30 p.m. This meeting will review FRA’s current financial position and feature a discussion on FRA’s national and regional operations (by invitation only). Following this meeting, Darrin Roth, Vice President of Highway Policy at the American Trucking Association, will discuss the current state of highway infrastructure, including its condition and the impacts of growing congestion on motorists and the trucking industry. The National Public Policy / Advocacy Committee Meeting will immediately follow Darrin’s presentation at 3:30 p.m. We will end the day with a relaxing “Cookout on the Beach.”

FRA Policy Update
FRA has an updated Issue Brief link on our website under the Policy tab. The Issue Brief section will provide members and general website users information on FRA’s current policy positions and will provide up-to-date information as they evolve through the legislative or rulemaking process. The goal of Issue Briefs is to have a consistent message across the policy issues FRA is advocating. The briefings are print-ready, and we encourage members to use them in your own communication efforts. Currently, briefings on H-2B, DRIVE Safe Act, and Safe Routes Act are available on the FRA website. The Issue Briefs combined with the weekly Issue Updates aim to keep FRA members informed on the issues impacting the fiber supply chain.
